When an innovative idea gives life to a team of first-class players, building its visual identity is all the more exciting. The Italian Institute of Packaging, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan and CONAI (the Italian National Packaging Consortium), awarded the 2016 Packaging Oscar to the Save the Waste project for the best eco-friendly packaging. This represents the umpteenth successful idea from Pedon, this time in partnership with Favini and Lucaprint: 100% recyclable packaging made with CRUSH Fagiolo (CRUSH Bean) paper, the first food-grade paper to use the by-products from bean processing. Short supply chain, circular economy – a great story that needed a strong, engaging name and a visual that conveyed its content and values straight off the bat in an entertaining way.
